My name is Carrie. I am a Certified Assisted Lymphatic Therapist. I have worked in the medical field for 30 + years in Integrative, Internal and Holistic Medicine. My specialty for the past 5 years has been Integrative Oncology, with a focus on lymphatic care.

I have a passion for helping people achieve their wellness goals through a strong healthy lymphatic system.

What is Assisted Lymphatic Therapy (ALT)?

Assisted Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle, light touch non-invasive technique to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymphatic system. A combination of vibrational, light, and electrical waves help to stimulate the flow by causing the dissociation of proteins that have become trapped in the interstitium. When trapped proteins (not to be confused with nutrient proteins) release their bond, the stagnate lymph is liberated and will flow out into its normal filtration and reabsorption channels.

The Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is part of your immune system (when working well it can fight off daily unwanted toxins). It filters and detoxifies any threats – mutated cells (like cancer cells) plus environmental pollutants, toxins, and bacterial / viral threats. The lymphatic system controls the volume of fluid circulating in the body – preventing edema (fluid retention). The lymphatic system acts as the body’s drainage system, it collects excess fluid that is surrounding the body’s tissues and organs then returns it to the bloodstream.A function of the lymphatic system is to carry and distribute fat soluble vitamins and minerals to cells and tissues in the body. Seventy percent (70%) of the lymphatic system is in the gut. If it is congested it could lead to cell malnourishment.A congested lymphatic system can lead to serious illness.

Getting your lymphatic system functioning properly is key to reversing disease. Lymphatic drainage helps speed up recovery in cases of injury, surgery, illness, water retention, and more. ALT can boost your immune system up to  200% with just one treatment.

Why Does the Lymphatic System Get Congested?

Unlike the cardiovascular system (which relies on the heart to pump blood), the lymphatic system depends on movement (exercise or massage) to propel lymph fluid.

Factors leading to poor lymph circulation include illness, exposure to chemicals and pesticides, pollution, stress, a sedentary lifestyle, and nutrient-poor diets.

02

Electro-Lymphatic Drainage (XP2):

XP2 is a gentle, non-invasive, light-touch therapy that surpasses manual methods.

Each XP2 session is equivalent to 8-10 manual treatments.

About 30% of the body’s lymph nodes reside in the abdomen, approximately 6 inches deep!

03

How Does XP2 Work?

Electro-sound therapy: The XP2 breaks down congested lymphatic fluid using state-of-the-art electro-sound therapy.

Body fluids conduct electricity, and this therapy facilitates effortless movement of lymph fluid through the system.

During a session:

  • You’ll rest comfortably on a massage table.

  • The XP2 machine, with hand-blown glass bulbs containing noble gases (argon, xenon, and krypton), increases electro-static tension and stimulates lymphatic flow.

  • Lymph, fat, and cellulite are manually directed along the limbs and torso using two handheld micro-current probes.

  • Two handheld micro-current probes deliver a frequency-specific signal that stimulates the lymphatic system and gets deep into the organs to deliver natural detox.

“l met Carrie at the Center for Advanced Medicine in Alpharetta Georgia. When l first met Carrie she stood out to me. She is in a league of her own. Carrie exudes such a level of professionalism. When she performed the Lymphatic drainage on me, l could tell it was extremely important to Carrie that l was comfortable in everyway.
